Dr Jérôme Bouaziz

Dr. Jérôme Bouaziz trained in obstetrics and gynecology in Paris (residency starting in 2003). He went on to earn an inter-university diploma in breast diseases at Hôpital Saint-Louis and a master’s degree (Master 2) at Institut Gustave Roussy (2006), a certificate in laparoscopic surgery (2007) and then, in 2008, the specialized studies diploma (DES) in reproductive medicine and surgery, a university diploma in hysteroscopy at Hôpital Tenon, and the Certificate of Reproductive Medicine in London. His medical thesis, defended in 2008, evaluated professional practices in the management of postpartum hemorrhage. In 2012, he completed a fellowship dedicated to endometriosis.

After serving as chief resident (chef de clinique, 2010), hospital assistant (assistant des hôpitaux, 2011) and then hospital consultant (praticien hospitalier) at the hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine (2012), he now practices obstetrics and gynecology privately in Paris and the Île-de-France region: pregnancy care, infertility and assisted reproduction, endometriosis surgery, hysteroscopy and gynecologic ultrasound. He is contracted with French National Health Insurance (conventionné) and listed in the RPPS, the French national health professional register (RPPS 10100073161).

His work, published in peer-reviewed journals, focuses on bladder endometriosis and hysteroscopic surgery for cesarean scar niches, particularly their impact on fertility.

A healthcare entrepreneur, he co-founded lemedecin.fr in December 2016 with Olivier Menir and Zhiwu Wu, a platform for teleconsultation and care pathway management, and then One Clinic, a network of multidisciplinary medical centers organized around the principles of value-based health care, which he heads and whose website he is responsible for publishing. He is president of SOKRATE SAS and writes the health content on sokrate.fr, which is reviewed by the editorial board.

He speaks regularly about preventive medicine and longevity, including at Tech for Longevity (Station F, Paris, November 20, 2024) and on the podcast The Human Hack (2025). His motto, “Care is contagious,” is also Sokrate’s.
